The different products made on the pole lathe often require specialised tools in order to get the job done. Matt is a firm believer that all of the tools needed can be made with very simple equipment at home.
On this course you will be taken through the entire process of making a hook tool for any job you may wish to take on. Your tool will be forged from old car springs on a Charcoal powered forge. You will forge the hot metal to rough shape, grind it , heat treat it, sharpen and then handle it ready for use.
All tools and materials are provided. No prior experience is required,
